What this site collects.
Daxly has no ads, no tracking cookies, and no user accounts. A few features handle a small amount of data, and this page lists all of them.

Who runs this site
Daxly is a personal website run by Stein Sæstad in Norway. I am responsible for the data described on this page. You can reach me at [email protected].
Contact form
When you use the Get in touch form, your name, email address, and message are sent to my inbox through Resend, an email delivery service. Nothing from the form is stored on this website.
I use your details only to reply to you. Messages stay in my inbox for as long as the conversation is relevant, and I delete them on request.
Like button
When you like a post, the site stores a hashed version of your IP address together with the post it belongs to. This prevents the same visitor from liking a post more than once. The hash is not linked to your name or any other data, but because the number of possible IP addresses is limited, it should be treated as personal data.
Your browser also remembers which posts you have liked, using a liked: entry in local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to the site. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.
Hosting
Daxly is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. The like counts and hashed IP addresses are stored in a Cloudflare database.
Fonts and all other files are served from this site, so your browser does not contact any third-party servers while you read.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies, and there is no analytics or advertising tracking.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete any data I hold about you. Send an email to [email protected] and I will reply within 30 days. If you think your data has been handled incorrectly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
